The Wick Slicer IQ was born out of an “aha!” moment. A full-fledged system that looks to exploit extreme deviations from an asset’s opening price - Wick Slicer IQ best serves as a complementary indicator to an arsenal of trading strategies.

The Wick Slicer IQ operates on a single premise: prices may substantially deviate from an asset’s opening price, but we’re willing to bet prices won’t consistently close near that substantial deviation.

With that, Wick Slicer IQ operates as a reversion strategy. Extreme deviations to the upside are shorted and extreme deviations to the downside are bought. All positions are exited at the close of the bar.
