How It Works

Wick Slicer IQ combines IQ technology with a simple heuristic - long extreme downside deviations and short extreme upside deviations.

Through IQ technology, Wick Slicer IQ learns from historical deviations, such as their longevity, raw-dollar price move, reversal point and more. Simply, Wick Slicer IQ studies historical price to determine the best way to trade a large deviation and profit from it.

Note
The green line shows the extreme downside deviation point, while the red line shows the extreme upside deviation point. If the green line is tested a long position is entered and if the red line is tested a short position is entered. All prices between the green zone and red zone are considered “acceptable” in this context.

Notice how Wick Slicer IQ contracts and expands during heightening and diminishing volatility. This is IQ technology at work. The Wick Slicer channel grows and narrows as what’s considered a “non-extreme” price changes.
