Entries/Exits
Long entry signals are given when NOSC extends below the bearish overextension level (blue) and short entry signals are given when NOSC extends above the bullish overextension level (red). Additional background calculations are performed by the AI that aren’t visible on the chart at this time. Future updates to Nova IQ may include visuals for all backend calculations the AI uses to determine a long or short entry.
This means that not all NOSC overextensions result in a trade entry!
Note
Nova IQ entry signals occur as market orders at the close of the candle.
When NOSC overextends to the downside, and additional criteria are met, a long entry signal is produced. Long entry signals are blue.
When NOSC overextends to the upside, and additional criteria are met, a short entry signal is produced. Short entry signals are red.
Exits
All exits for Nova IQ use stop-loss orders. This means, contrary to the market orders at the close of the candlestick for entries, Nova IQ trades will stop out as soon as the profit target or stop loss is violated.
As with all Trading IQ indicators, the AI self-learns optimal trade exits. This means you don’t need to manually set profit targets and stop-losses - Nova IQ will handle this!
